Nicholas J. Pierce

Nicholas Pierce is president of Nick Pierce and Associates, Inc. His 30 years of executive search experience includes serving as partner for a total of 13 years with two international search firms including Heidrick & Struggles and Ray & Berndtson. Earlier in his career, he established and managed three successful executive search ventures in Chicago.

Mr. Pierce has been identified as being one of the top search consultants in North America.  He has been featured several times on Sky Radio/Forbes In-Flight Radio, listed as one of America’s Best Recruiters (US Airways publication) and has been profiled in the HarperCollins book, The New Career Makers.  He has also served on the Business Advisory Board for Hawk Laboratories.  His success includes receiving one of the highest percentages of repeat clients coupled with a strong record for superior client satisfaction.

Mr. Pierce has successfully represented the following companies: TD Waterhouse, First Data Corporation, Ingenico, ETRADE Financial, ETRADE Bank, MasterCard, CheckFree, Norgren, Global Document Solutions, the Rollins Family Office and Walt Disney. He has also represented private equity firms, such as GTCR Golder Rauner, FTVentures, New Mountain Capital and Welsh, Carson Anderson & Stowe.

Mr. Pierce began his career working at The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. His education credentials include a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois.

Noel Follrath

Noel Follrath is a partner with Nick Pierce & Associates. With over ten years in executive search as well as line experience in the financial service industry, he has served a wide variety of clients including investment banks, commercial banks, investment management firms, insurance companies, venture capital firms and industrial conglomerates Prior to his associate with Nick Pierce, he was a partner with Ray & Berndtson, an international retainer search firm.

Mr. Follrath's involvement in investment banking, commercial banking and investment management has included searches in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, sales and trading, research, capital markets, highly leverage finance, structured finance, project finance, lending, portfolio management, financial operations, marketing, legal, risk management, systems and compliance.

Prior to his experience in executive search, Mr. Follrath served as director of sales and marketing for Bank South Corporation. He began his career at First Chicago Corporation and received his B.S. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio
